Hello, Beautiful!
I hope your week is off to a fantastic start. It’s hump day, so we are already halfway through the week . . . and that, my friends, is a beautiful thing!
I recently tried the new Kenra Brightening hair treatment for @Influenster – a neat little app that sends complimentary new products in exchange for honest feedback – and fell in love with the way it helped me #KickThatBrass and brighten up my ash-blonde hair. Whether you’re strawberry or silver, us blondes know how tough it can be to keep the color-treated portions of our locks from turning brassy on us.
Enter the Kenra Brightening hair treatment, a 5-10 minute purple masque specifically designed to restore dull and damaged hair for a bright and beautiful end look. Don’t have color-treated hair? Kenra Brightening tones naturally blonde hair, too! It’s formulated with a cosmetic-grade intense violet pigment, so you know this product is putting in work to de-brassify your gorg tresses.
I tested out the product on a twice-per-week basis, which is the recommended use. I left the product on mostly during bubble baths and for much longer than recommended (because I’m a rebel without a cause and stuff), sometimes 20-25 minutes. I loved the silvery, bright results I got every time. I’ll definitely be buying a full-size bottle of this hair masque to keep around as a new shower staple. Pro Tip: I got the best results on the days I opted to just use the treatment (no shampoo or conditioner first!).
My husband initially was a little bit freaked out at the intensity of the “blue” color everywhere, especially the fact that it was all over our shower . . . our shower curtain . . . and my skin. But after seeing my regular use of the product and my awesome results for about a month, he even decided to try it out a little bit one day . . . on his chest hair. Not what the product was designed for and not the least bit helpful to you or me at all, but good for him for making that effort and being weird (and making me laugh until I cry on a daily basis).
Final Verdict: Totes loved x not for chest hair.
